September - October 2009 Bennett Group’s Green Team has developed a “Green Strategy” for the office, and is working to carry out this strategy week by week. Included on our list are the following: switching our light bulbs to LEDs; installing motion sensors to reduce light use; switching our electricity provider to Clean Currents, a green energy provider; becoming a member of CarbonFund.org where we will make a donation of $700 to offset our company’s carbon footprint.

September 2007 Bennett Group has signed a contract to renovate the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at the Watergate South residential complex in Washington, DC, replacing all existing fan coil units in each apartment. June 2007 Bennett Group has signed a contract with the Anacostia Waterfront Corporation to maintain and manage 300 acres of land, 100 acres of marina and 500,000 square feet of leased space. Bennett Group will manage the Fish Wharf and Washington Marina, the Anacostia Marina, Kingman Island, Boathouse Row and the Southwest Waterfront.
