BG Executive Brig Owens recognizes Mount Vernon's own Vickie 
Braxton of AA Enterprise as the 2010 Volunteer of the Year for her years of service to, and mentoring of, grateful kids in the area!
Since 1985, Brig Owens has trained over 24,000 students through an organization he started called Super Leaders. Over the last 23 years, students in the program have graduated high school at a rate of 
95% with more than 75% entering college or the military. Super Leaders serves nine schools in wards 4, 6, 7, and 8 and affects more than 700 students.
